I grew up in London, surrounded by food as my parents owned a restaurant. Living above it, I met many people, from Gilbert & George to Colin Firth and many others. This environment instilled in me a love for interacting with people and expressing myself creatively.
During my primary school years, I danced and attended drama school, though academic subjects did not excite me. In secondary school, I started creating pop art-style images using an old Mac program similar to Photoshop, which led to exciting results. This motivated me to attend a course in Art and Design in college, where I was taught After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Maya. I studied life drawing, photography, and contextual studies, which I loved.
I had to teach myself various skills, like chroma keying and other basic tools. This path led me to motion graphics. I attended Ravensbourne University, where I honed my craft and grew as a designer. I became more critical and embraced constructive criticism. My time at university deepened my love for developing ideas and concepts and bringing them to life, whether in advertising or branding. It introduced me to a larger world of creativity and a wide range of software knowledge.
